So I watched Madness Combat.

I've got like 20 or so years of Newgrounds and Flash history to catch up on, I mean I grew up with a lot of Flash things in my childhood, but being between 5-11 years old on the internet, I barely remember all the things I used to play and watch, however I'm pretty certain Madness Combat might have been one of them. Well, not the whole series, but some of it.

I mentioned in my last blog that I came back to Newgrounds and the flash community thanks to this little indie game a few of you might know by the name of "Friday Night Funkin". I won't blame you if you've never heard of it, of course.

Jokes aside, I learned that among some other characters, Hank J. Wimbleton is meant to get added into Friday Night Funkin' sometime in the future. When I saw him, I knew I felt like he was familiar somehow.

I bit of research later, I come across Madness Combat, the series that he (and Tricky, from the awesome Tricky Mod) originate from.

My brother and I checked it out, and we were NOT disappointed. That's some classic flash animation right there. Well made badass death battles with some slappin' music, way too much blood and gore, and that nostalgic compressed audio quality.

It was pretty bizarre and awesome to see the evolution of Hank, and how he went from a badass blank grey guy to a badass fully suited guy. A lot of the deaths in the series were really creative too, and the part where a whole ass rave house falling onto the vehicle was pretty funny and out of nowhere.

All in all I'm more excited to see him getting added into FNF.
